In view of the very strong growth of the business, the current Managing Director was promoted to Group level to ensure its strategic development.
The France & Benelux subsidiary, also growing, must quickly find a new General Manager.
The company has launched a permanent recruitment process to ensure his replacement.
In parallel, our client is launching an interim management mission to quickly find an interim Managing Director, for a period of 6 months, which can be extended.
FIT IN NETWORK® RESPONSE
The client has contacted us to find an experienced Interim General Manager in the transport and logistics sectors.
They are looking for a manager who can be available within a maximum of 15 days.
After discussing with the client to understand the company's challenges, we have the search within our network of over 29,000 managers .
During 5 days, we analysed the market, received candidates, and conducted interviews by video to take professional references.
In 6 days, we presented a shortlist of 3 candidates, 1 of whom was interviewed by our client, first by video and then in person.
The "FIT" happened and the expert presented, an interim Managing Director, was retained for this mission.
The mission finally started 12 days after the first contact with the client.
The executive provided was immediately operational.
From the beginning of his mission, he focused on the deployment of the company's strategic plan with the objective of doubling the turnover in 3 years.
His main operational priorities during this mission as Interim CEO were to :
- Tomaintain and develop the company's reputation with its main clients;
- Increase operational profitability;
- Develop the turnover by launching new services;
- Position the company in new niches , particularly in the health sector
At the end of the 6 month assignment, the company's workforce continued to grow.
The number of staff was increased by +15%, and the turnover grew at an annual rate of +32%.
Finally, the company won 2 new contracts with two new pharmaceutical companies.
The assignment was extended by 2 months, to allow the interim manager to ensure the transfer of skills to the person recruited for the position.
At the end of an 8-month assignment, the company's General Management was handed over to a new employee on a permanent contract.
A beautiful ceremony at the end of the mission was organised, with the representatives of the Group and more than 200 employees, a memorable moment!
