Finance Director (M/W)

🏢 Location: Hamburg, Germany

Main responsibilities

Lead the finance function and contribute to the definition and execution of the company’s financial strategy.
Act as a strategic business partner to senior management and support key decision-making processes.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, tax and internal control activities.
Develop financial performance management processes, KPIs and business intelligence tools.
Support operational leaders through profitability analysis, cost optimization and performance monitoring.
Drive finance transformation initiatives, including ERP, reporting and digitalization projects.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate financial requirements.
Manage relationships with financial institutions and key external stakeholders.
Support corporate development initiatives, including business integration and transformation projects.
Lead and develop high-performing finance teams in an evolving international environment.

☑️ Your key skills & profile

Profile

Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance, Controlling or Financial Leadership roles.
Proven experience as Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO or equivalent senior finance position.
Strong background in FP&A, controlling, financial performance management and business partnering.
Demonstrated experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation and change management.
Experience operating in international and multicultural environments.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

Key skills

Fluent in German and English.
Strategic and operational finance leadership.
Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset.
Ability to support business growth and transformation.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to operate in dynamic and evolving organizations.
