For one of our key international Clients, we have an exclusive mandate to recruit a Senior Industrial Maintenance Manager (M/W) on a permanent, full-time basis in the industrial sector.

In this high-impact role, you will take full responsibility for the maintenance function of a large continuous-process facility, ensuring high plant availability, operational reliability, and cost control. Beyond delivering safe and efficient operations, you will be expected to lead major outages, implement preventive & predictive programs, and drive continuous improvement across teams and contractors.

This position is site-based and highly visible, offering you the opportunity to shape a reliability-first culture and contribute directly to the long-term performance of a key industrial asset.

To qualify for this position, your background must include two key assets:

· Proven track record in maintenance leadership within large thermal or continuous-process facilities, including boiler & turbine scopes.

· Strong expertise in outage planning coordination, CMMS, contractor management, and reliability improvements.

SENIOR Industrial Maintenance Manager (M/W)

Reporting directly to the company Executive Management

Interfaces : Operations, HSE, Finance, HR, Procurement, OEMs & Contractors

Your main mission is to ensure the continuous operational condition of this major industrial plant in compliance with local regulations and best in class safety standards.

You will oversee a large maintenance team, from 30 to 50 direct employees plus supervise the various subcontractors servicing the plant.

You main responsibilities includes :

- Maintenance Leadership – Define and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. Lead major outages and shutdowns, ensure plant availability, reliability, and cost control.

- Performance & KPIs – Monitor technical availability, unplanned downtime, schedule compliance, and budget adherence. Report results and propose improvements.

- Compliance & Safety – Guarantee full compliance with HSE, legal and technical standards. Drive a zero-incident culture.

- Continuous Improvement – Implement reliability programs (RCA, FMEA), optimize spare parts strategy, strengthen CMMS usage, and reduce rework.

- Team & Contractor Management – Lead, motivate and develop internal teams; manage contractors and service providers to deliver on time, on budget, at required quality.

🏢 Location: Middle East, United Arab Emirates, Dubai – Abu Dhabi region

✈️ Mobility: Primarily site-based, country or regional mobility for business matters

🚩 Starting date: October 2025, once the selection process is finalized

⚽ Contract type: Local permanent contract, with various mobility package

☑️ Candidate profile

Profile

Senior degree Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Senior industrial Maintenance experience in large industrial facilities

15 to 20 years of experience in maintenance leadership within large industrial continuous-process facilities

Expected maintenance experience in sectors such as Oil & gas, Waste-to-energy, Energy

Expected technical knowledge in Boilers, Turbines fuelled by Oil, Coal, Waste – not Gaz based

Proven track record leading major outages, CMMS optimization, and contractor management

International experience is a plus but not mandatory

Competences

Strong leadership, hands-on approach, and decision-making skills

Structured, results-oriented, and cost-conscious

Safety-driven mindset with focus on reliability improvement

Languages: professional English required, any additional languages is a plus
